April 17-18, 2026

The Spring Benefit Auction is a two-day Heisey glass extravaganza, offering a wide array of items for bidding and buying. There is something for everyone, from standard production items to true rarities that you seldom see, much less have a chance to buy. The auction provides the perfect chance to start a collection, find the ideal wedding gift, or add a special piece to your collection.

Held in April of each year, the auction is open to the public for both in-person and online bidding.

HCA’s Dave Spahr Fall Select auction is a one-day, live online and in-person auction held annually in October.

As the auction title indicates, this is a select auction. It includes the best pieces of Heisey glass that have been consigned or donated by members of Heisey Collectors of America. All items are carefully chosen by representatives of the HCA Auction Committee. This auction often includes rare items to entice experienced collectors as well as many pieces to attract bidders who are new to Heisey glass.

Held twice a year, a week before the Spring Benefit Auction and the Dave Spahr Fall Select Auction, the online-only Heisey Heritage Auctions offer a full range of Heisey patterns, colors, and items to tempt any collector. Pre-bidding is available, followed by the excitement of live online bidding against other Heisey enthusiasts.

The Heisey Heritage Auctions are open to the public.

Consigning a Collection

HCA accepts consignments of members’ glass collections, amounting to more than 40 lots, for HCA auctions. These large consignments must be approved by HCA’s Executive Committee. Depending on the size of the collection, HCA may sell the glass over several years.

We currently accept not only pieces made by A. H. Heisey & Company but also consignments and donations of glass made by any company using a Heisey mould.

If you, as a member, are interested in downsizing, you are welcome to contact us to discuss the process for consigning your glass to HCA for the benefit of the museum.

If you are a member’s personal representative, executor or administrator of a member’s estate, or other person legally responsible for making decisions about the sale of a member’s glass, feel free to contact us regarding the dispersal of glass through our auction process.

The consignor of the glass must be a member of HCA and maintain that membership until all  of the consigned glass is sold.

The glass will be sold in one or more of the auctions conducted by HCA. The sale of the glass will take place in a timely manner, in accordance with the contract between HCA and the member or member’s representative.
