Gallery One

New Additions to the Collection

Through the generosity of HCA members and study clubs, new examples of Heisey’s craftsmanship are continually added to the museum’s collection. The most recent additions are on display in the lobby of the Gallery building.

The Krall Exhibit

Examples of the work of master engraver Emil Krall, Sr., including a magnificent cabinet with a glass border engraved by him, are on display in the King House. Learn more about the Krall Cabinet.

The Walter R. Ludwig Gallery

Named for former curator and legendary volunteer Walter Ludwig, the gallery showcases rotating exhibits curated by Walter and a team of volunteers. Now on display: pressed glass vases made in Heisey’s early years, up to 1920.

Heisey in Hollywood

Whether you’re watching a Hollywood classic or a contemporary streamer, examples of Heisey glass may appear when you least expect them. Check out the Heisey in Hollywood display for examples spotted by sharp-eyed collectors.

Dining Table Setting

Do you love to set a beautiful table? The table setting on the dining table in the elegant 19th century King House shows how it’s done with Heisey glassware.

Reproductions and Look-Alikes

(OPENING SOON) After Heisey closed in 1957, the Imperial Glass Company and, later, HCA reissued some of the cherished animal figurines and other items made in the Heisey moulds. An updated exhibit of these reissues, along with look-alikes and misleading pieces, will officially open at the HCA convention in June 2026.
