Museum to participate in Ohio Open Doors Sept. 14

The National Heisey Glass Museum will join a wide variety of historic sites in showcasing the state’s rich history during Ohio Open Doors week, September 9 through 18. The museum has selected Wednesday, Sept. 14 as its free admission Open Door day. Heisey glass experts will be on hand to share the story of Heisey glass and answer guests’ questions.

This is a great opportunity to encourage friends, neighbors and relatives who have never visited the museum to check it out at no cost.

Ohio Open Doors was created in 2016 to promote and inspire pride in Ohio’s heritage. Each participating historic site was asked to choose a day to open its doors to the public free of charge.
